Where to Direct a Request
For a current Boone County custody question or a booking-record request, start with the office that operates the jail. The Sheriff’s office lists public-facing business hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Jail intake and release run around the clock, although required counts or emergencies can cause a delay.
